Daniel Jebbison is emerging as one of the most wanted young players in Europe with Sheffield United braced to lose the England Under-20 prospect, HITC Football understands.

The 20-year-old striker has long been regarded as one of England’s top attacking talents, but his current deal at Bramall Lane is due to expire at the end of the season.

New Blades boss Chris Wilder is anxious to persuade Jebbison to sign a new contract, but it is understood that the Canadian-born youngster is ready depart and a move out of the Premier League is exceedingly likely – although their remains extensive interest in England.

HITC Football can reveal that Jebbison’s name is across the radar of almost every major club, who know they can land one of the most exciting young English strikers for a fee of less than £400,000. If he leaves The Blades for a cross-border move, the compensation is minimal.

Interest emerging

The interest in Germany has always been strong with Borussia Dortmund, Bayer Leverkusen, Stuttgart and RB Leipzig all showing interest, whilst in Serie A – Juventus, Napoli, Atalanta, Lazio and Genoa are also keen.

Add to that interest from Monaco, Lyon, Nice, Sevilla, Girona and Feyenoord, and it is clear to see Jebbison has a major decision to make in the coming months.

Wilder hoping for new deal

Wilder and United are aware of the interest and have been working hard to try and seal a new deal.

“We’re in negotiations with his agent, hopefully for Dan to sign a new contract. His parents are very protective of Dan and his future, and rightly so,” Wilder told the Sheffield Star.

Jebbison has missed most of the season with injury concerns, but he was set to start against Luton Town in the recent Premier League clash, but a hamstring issues saw him ruled out.
