Liverpool forward Fabio Carvalho has agreed to join Championship side Hull City on a loan deal, sources have told HITC Football.
The 21-year-old’s loan spell at Bundesliga side RB Leipzig was cut short by Liverpool and he is now hoping to kick-start his career again.
Sources have told HITC Football that Hull City boss Liam Rosenior spoke to Fabio Carvalho and it has resulted in them beating promotion rivals Southampton to his signature.
It has been added that Liverpool have sanctioned this loan deal as they are keen for the versatile forward to get some much-needed minutes under his belt.
During his time at RB Leipzig, he only played 360 minutes across all competitions, so he will have a lot of things to prove upon his return to England.
Brilliant signing for Hull City
This is some coup from the promotion-chasing side, who already have some top-quality attacking players at their disposal and they have just taken it to the next level.
Yes, things haven’t gone well for Carvalho since his move to Anfield from Fulham, but he is a top performer for a Championship side.
The last time he played in England’s second-tier, he scored ten goals and supplied eight assists whilst helping Fulham earn promotion to the Premier League.
And now with his introduction, this just increases Hull’s chances of securing a top-six finish this season.
They are currently sitting seventh in the table, one point off the play-off places, but 16 points off second-placed Ipswich Town. It’s clear that only the play-off places are only up for grabs.

Great opportunity for Fabio Carvalho
This is the chance for Carvalho to prove his worth and try to showcase that he has a future at Anfield.
Some might argue that his chance has already gone, but he is still a young player and Klopp always provides those chances if you prove your worth.
That has been proven by 20-year-old Conor Bradley being handed a chance during the 2-0 FA Cup win over Arsenal, including the return of Owen Beck from Dundee.
