Former Chelsea right-back Todd Kane is keen on moving back to England in January and a host of clubs are interested in the 30-year-old, HITC Football understands.
Todd Kane, the 30-year-old, has been on a short-term deal with Gibraltar side Manchester 86 to build up his match fitness but is now keen on a move back to England to try and break back into the top leagues of English football.
Kane joined Chelsea at under-8 level and progressed through the youth system at the club. He signed his first professional contract with the club in July 2011.
After winning the FA Youth Cup with Chelsea and signing multiple contract extensions with the Blues, Kane departed Stamford Bridge in the 2018-2019 season.

Kane attracting Championship interest
As we head into the New Year, several sides are showing an interest in the full-back who has played nearly 300 games – mainly in the Championship.
Sources have confirmed that a couple of Championship sides and EFL League One sides are keen on the right-back in January with Middlesbrough, Millwall, Peterborough United and Lincoln City showing an interest in the 30-year-old.
As well as this, sources have also confirmed that there is indeed interest from Scotland in the English right-back and could rival these EFL sides to sign the 30-year-old.
Kane’s struggles
As well as multiple years out of the Chelsea first-team group, despite being a talented prospect and a crucial cog for the youth cup-winning side, Kane never made a single appearance for the Blues’ first team.
Kane was one of a number of talented academy players who failed to make the grade at Chelsea and the right-back inevitably became part of the group of academy players who had multiple loan spells away from the club.
The defender had loans at Preston North End, Blackburn Rovers, Bristol City and Nottingham Forest, amongst others. Kane is now looking for a way back into the EFL picture.
