Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain has moved to praise Liverpool midfielder Dominik Szoboszlai after making a superb start to life in the Premier League.
Former Liverpool midfielder Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain claims that Trent Alexander-Arnold is constantly raving about Dominik Szoboszlai.
Liverpool had to revamp their midfield over the summer with Oxlade-Chamberlain one of the players to move on.
The Reds splashed the cash on four new midfielders with Alexis Mac Allister, Dominik Szoboszlai, Wataru Endo and Ryan Gravenberch all arriving.
The early results are pretty good; Liverpool sit second in the Premier League table, two points behind leaders Arsenal.

All of Liverpool’s new midfield additions are contributing massively but fans have been dazzled by Szoboszlai.
Liverpool swooped to sign Szoboszlai in a £60million move from RB Leipzig having activated his release clause.
The Hungarian playmaker has been sensational in his opening months as a Premier League player and a driving force in Liverpool’s midfield.
Not only does Szoboszlai contribute in the final third with creativity and goalscoring threat, but he’s also tenacious and puts in plenty of work off the ball.
This is just what Liverpool needed and Szoboszlai seems to have absolutely wowed Trent Alexander-Arnold.
Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain has told Sky Sports that Alexander-Arnold keeps telling him just how good Szoboszlai is, drawing particular attention to his shooting ability.
The Beşiktaş star added that he has loved watching Szoboszlai too having continued to watch Liverpool even after leaving Anfield.
Oxlade-Chamberlain is ‘really impressed’ with how Szoboszlai plays the game, believing that he is making a huge impact for the Reds.
“I mean, obviously, I watch a lot of Liverpool games, the usuals: Mo Salah still scoring those goals. I’ve really enjoyed watching Dominik Szoboszlai,” said Oxlade-Chamberlain. “He’s sort of taken over from my sort of role and I’m really impressed with how good of a player he is and that he plays the game, how I sort of always want to play the game. I think he’s got so much ability, physicality and just his character as a player. I think he’s just what we needed in there. He’s been really, really good.”
“Trent tells me a lot how good he is as well. Trent says his shots are better than mine. He’s got everything. I know what the other guys that I’ve played with are capable of so it was more interesting to see the new lads come in, what they can do. I’ve enjoyed watching him,” he added.
Szoboszlai has produced 30 key passes this season, behind only Kieran Trippier, Julian Alvarez, Bruno Fernandes, Bukayo Saka, Mohamed Salah and James Maddison.
The real exciting thing is that Szoboszlai is only 23 and should continue to develop during his time at Anfield.
Szoboszlai is already making a huge impact and Liverpool’s £60million deal is starting to look like a masterstroke.
