RB Salzburg’s £13 million-rated centre-half Oumar Solet has opened the door for Newcastle United or Everton while admitting that he ‘could see myself’ joining a Premier League club.
Joining the Red Bull stable after a spell at Lyon, the talented 23-year-old could soon be following in the footsteps of Sadio Mane, Hwang Hee-Chan, Dominik Szoboszlai, Erling Haaland and more.
According to the Daily Mail, there is interest from Newcastle United and Everton in Oumar Solet, the latest talented French centre-back to emerge on the European stage.
The 6ft 4ins colossus continues to blossom at Salzburg and, despite attracting interest from Serie A, is holding out for a dream move to England instead.

Newcastle United and Everton like Oumar Solet
“England and Germany seem to me to be leagues which could suit me in terms of my qualities,” Solet, who prides himself upon his pace, his physical prowess and his aggression, tells Foot Mercato.
“I like the Premier League. It’s a championship with a lot of intensity, and I like that. I find that my physical qualities – my size, my speed and the fact that I am tough in duels – mean that I could see myself there. It is one of the best leagues in the world.”
Solet, also attracting admiring glances from Inter Milan, is valued at around £13 million (Gazzetta dello Sport). He is also another right-sided centre-half linked with a Newcastle United side who appear to be prioritising a long-term replacement for Fabian Schar and Jamaal Lascelles, both of whom are now the wrong side of 30.
Radu Dragusin of Genoa is an option also under consideration. The Romania international’s agent once again spoke about Newcastle’s interest in the one-time Juventus youngster this week.
Radu Dragusin a Magpies target
“The people from Genoa know (that he will soon leave),” Florin Manea tells Fanatik.
“I have been in London for some time and have almost weekly meetings with important teams. We are getting closer. I spoke with Newcastle, with Arsenal, with Tottenham. I also have the messages with them, conversations. There are teams that ask.
“I want to say that, 100 per cent by next summer, Radu will play for a very strong club. One in the top 10 in the world. He wants to be in the Premier League, but I know that Milan like him a lot. I talked to the people there.”
