Arsenal teenager Chidozie Obi-Martin is now wanted by both Anderlecht and Borussia Dortmund as the hype continues to grow.

Chidozie Obi-Martin looks to be Arsenal’s next big thing but he is now attracting interest from Anderlecht and Borussia Dortmund.

The international break means no Arsenal action for two weeks, placing a microscope on the club’s youth action.

Saturday was a simply insane day as Arsenal’s Under-16’s beat Liverpool 14-3 thanks to 10 – yes, 10 – goals from Obi-Martin.

Obi-Martin is only 15 but is already a regular for the Under-18’s; the only reason he played for the Under-16’s on Saturday is because the Under-18’s didn’t have a game.

Borussia Dortmund want to sign Chidozie Obi-Martin

The hype is building around Obi-Martin and Arsenal may now face a battle to keep hold of him.

Arsenal Youth reporter Jeorge Bird claims that Obi-Martin is wanted by both Anderlecht and Borussia Dortmund.

The two clubs are believed to have held a long-standing interest in Obi-Martin and could move for him.

Anderlecht offering a move to Belgium may not immediately worry Arsenal, but Dortmund have a major pull and have helped develop the likes of Erling Haaland, Jude Bellingham and Jadon Sancho.

Obi-Martin is tied to an Arsenal scholarship deal, the Gunners may soon have real interest emerging – especially if the teenager keeps hitting the headlines with his goalscoring feats.

Arsenal will hope to tempt Obi-Martin into staying

Arsenal clearly have high hopes for Obi-Martin and Mikel Arteta even called him into first-team training earlier this month.

The Danish Under-17 international just towers over players in his age range and looks to be on a path to stardom.

Ian Wright has already seen the potential in Obi-Martin, labelling him as ‘really quick’ on his podcast Wrighty’s House.

Wright noted that Obi-Martin is a little raw but that is to be expected of a 15-year-old.

Arsenal may need to keep involving Obi-Martin in first-team training in order to convince him that staying put is the best move for his future, rather than heading to Germany or Belgium.
