Jamie O’Hara has given his verdict on Arsenal midfielder Kai Havertz after watching him in action against Burnley at the Emirates Stadium.

The former Tottenham Hotspur player and talkSPORT pundit was not at all impressed with Havertz.

So, what has Jamie O’Hara said about Arsenal midfielder Kai Havertz?

Let’s take a look.

What’s the story?

Well, Arsenal got the better of Burnley 3-1 at the Emirates Stadium in the Premier League on Saturday.

Although the North London club ended the game with 10 men, they were never in danger of slipping up.

Kai Havertz started the match for Arsenal on the right of a midfield-three and played for 59 minutes.

Just like in previous games this season, the former Chelsea attacking player struggled to make an impact.

Havertz failed to score from a free header and could not play the final ball, but he did try his best.

Against Burnley, the midfielder took two shots and none of them was on target, played one key pass, had a pass accuracy of 77.3%, won three headers, took 31 touches, and put in one cross.

O’Hara said about Havertz on talkSPORT (6:38 pm, November 11, 2023): “Kai Havertz is really struggling to do anything in this Arsenal side.

“He got dragged after 59 minutes today.

“He just looks so off the pace.”

Kai Havertz needs to be dropped from Arsenal starting lineup

In my opinion, Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta really needs to start thinking about dropping Kai Havertz from the starting lineup.

It is simply not happening for the Germany international at the moment.

I believe that Arteta needs to give someone else a chance in the team.

Havertz has made eight starts and four substitute appearances in the Premier League for Arsenal this season.

The 24-year-old has scored one goal and given one assist in those games.

The Germany international has not scored or provided an assist in three starts and one substitute appearance in the UEFA Champions League.

Havertz has also played twice in the Carabao Cup.

Again, no goals or assists for the former Chelsea player.
