Jurgen Klopp’s Liverpool reportedly want to sign Lloyd Kelly, but they are facing two major hurdles, including competition from Ange Postecoglou’s Tottenham Hotspur.
According to TEAMtalk, Liverpool, Tottenham Hotspur and Newcastle United are among the clubs who are interested in signing Lloyd Kelly from Premier League rivals Bournemouth in the January transfer window.
Liverpool and Tottenham Hotspur linked with Lloyd Kelly
AC Milan are also keen on securing the services of Kelly.
The report has added that Bournemouth do not want to sell the defender in the January transfer window even though he is out of contract at the end of the season.
The Cherries will try their best to convince the 25-year-old central defender to sign a new deal.
TEAMtalk has added that Bournemouth do not want to lose Kelly in the middle of the season because they are in a relegation fight.

There is another hurdle for Liverpool.
According to TEAMtalk, Spurs would be Kelly’s “most favourable destination”.
The report has added that Tottenham “hold the best chance of signing” the defender if Bournemouth do change their stance.
Interestingly, both Liverpool and Tottenham were linked with the defender in the summer transfer window.
My View: Lloyd Kelly should wait until 2024 summer
I think that Lloyd Kelly should not push for a move from Bournemouth in the January transfer window.
Of course, it must be flattering to have clubs such as AC Milan, Tottenham Hotspur, Liverpool and Newcastle United interested in you.
However, Kelly needs to think of the long term.
As a free agent next summer, the defender would be able to command a better salary and would be able to make his choice without any pressure.
Kelly would be able to make a better decision in regard to which club would be best for him.
Liverpool, Newcastle and Tottenham are doing well at the moment, but you never know where they will end up in the Premier League table at the end of the season.
