Liverpool teenager Trey Nyoni has been involved in first-team training today as Jurgen Klopp prepares to take on Toulouse in the Europe League.

Jurgen Klopp has today given a first-team training opportunity to teenager Trey Nyoni.

The Reds are busy preparing to take on Ligue 1 side Toulouse in the Europa League.

Liverpool have already beaten LASK and Union Saint-Gilloise and will be looking to keep up that 100% record.

Klopp will, of course, be looking to rotate his squad ahead of a Premier League clash with Nottingham Forest this weekend.

Trey Nyoni features in Liverpool training

Klopp will have been looking at a host of players in training ahead of this game, including one player who doesn’t even appear to be eligible.

Midfielder Trey Nyoni was spotted with the first team on Wednesday despite The Mirror noting that he can’t actually feature against Touloluse.

Liverpool reporter Neil Jones has taken to social media to share that Nyoni featured in first-team training on Wednesday afternoon.

Fellow youngsters Calum Scanlon and Luke Chambers were also involved with Klopp keen to see his young players around the first-team setting.

Liverpool will hope that these training sessions will help develop the club’s youngsters, with Nyoni seemingly on a path to stardom.

Who is Liverpool talent Nyoni?

Nyoni started out in the Leicester City ranks and showed huge potential with the Foxes, putting himself on Liverpool’s radar.

Liverpool managed to win the race this past summer, securing Nyoni ahead of a host of Premier League rivals.

Nyoni has been in sensational form so far, already hitting three goals in three Under-18 Premier League games for the Reds.

An attacking midfielder who is already showing his eye for goal, Nyoni has clearly caught Klopp’s attention so far this season.

Nyoni has even been hailed as ‘different class’ by former Liverpool Women striker Natasha Dowie.

If Nyoni keeps shining at youth level and makes an impact in occasional training sessions, he will make himself impossible to ignore on the senior stage.
