Chelsea winger Mykhailo Mudryk has reportedly told the Blues to sign Heorhiy Sudakov, a player Mikel Arteta’s Arsenal are also keen on.

According to TEAMTalk, Arsenal and Chelsea are among the clubs who are interested in signing Heorhiy Sudakov from Shakhtar Donetsk in the January transfer window.

Arsenal and Chelsea want Heorhiy Sudakov

The report has claimed that Arsenal have been aware of Sudakov from the time they were scouting Mykhailo Mudryk, who joined Chelsea from Shakhtar in January 2023.

Juventus and Brighton and Hove Albion are interested in Sudakov as well.

TEAMtalk has added that Mudryk has told Chelsea to try to sign the 21-year-old playmaker, claiming that the Ukraine international winger “has talked him up as a player they should be looking at”.

Mudryk played with Sudakov at Shakhtar.

The two young players also turn out for Ukraine.

My View: Chelsea have advantage over Arsenal for Heorhiy Sudakov

In my opinion, Chelsea have an advantage over Arsenal for Heorhiy Sudakov.

If Mykhailo Mudryk is telling Chelsea to bid for Sudakov, then it could sway the playmaker towards the Blues.

Mudryk could be able to convince Sudakov to join him at Chelsea.

And, the former Premier League and UEFA Champions League winners are likely to listen to one of their current players when it comes to signing a 21-year-old.

Sudakov is best deployed as an attacking midfielder and is two-footed.

The 21-year-old has scored two goals in five Ukrainian Premier League matches this season.
