Chelsea got the better of Fulham away from home at Craven Cottage on Monday evening, and one of the best players for Mauricio Pochettino’s side was Conor Gallagher.
Conor Gallagher was linked with moves away from Chelsea in the summer transfer window.
Tottenham Hotspur were among the clubs linked with the 23-year-old England international midfielder.
But, no move happened, and Gallagher is still at Chelsea.
And, on Monday evening, the Chelsea youngster was brilliant.
Chelsea beat Fulham 2-0 away from home at Craven Cottage in the London derby.
Gallagher did not score or provide an assist in the Premier League, but the young midfielder worked hard in the middle of the park, drove the team forward, and was also the captain.

Former Tottenham Hotspur forward Garth Crooks was impressed with Gallagher and has included him in his Premier League Team of the Week.
Crooks wrote on BBC Sport: “Five of his subs had never kicked a ball in the first team before while Mykhailo Mudryk and Armando Broja looked a useful partnership up-front.
“Thiago Silva and Levi Colwill looked comfortable at the back while Moses Caicedo is clearly going to have an impact on the team.
“However nothing prepared me for the way Gallagher performed at Craven Cottage.
“The newly installed Chelsea captain didn’t just cover every blade of grass but also played with a maturity that justified the role.”

I believe that Conor Gallagher is a big player for Chelsea and is going to flourish under head coach Mauricio Pochettino.
That Pochettino has made Gallagher the captain shows how much the former Tottenham Hotspur head coach trusts him.
Gallagher is a very dynamic player who understands the role he plays on the pitch and can execute the manager’s plan.
I think that Chelsea are a better team with Gallagher in it.
The midfielder has made 106 appearances in the Premier League so far in his career.
The youngster has scored 13 goals and given six assists in those games.
