The Daily Mail has claimed that Antonio Silva of Benfica and Nice’s Jean-Clair Todibo are also on the radar of the Red Devils.

The report has claimed that Manchester City are showing interest in Branthwaite as well, adding that the 21-year-old England Under-21 international centre-back is in talks with Everton over a new deal.

Branthwaite is out of contract at Everton in the summer of 2025.

My view: Everton should not sell Jarrad Branthwaite to Manchester United in January 2024

In my opinion, Everton should not sell Jarrad Branthwaite to Premier League rivals Manchester United in the January transfer window.

No way.

Like last season, the Toffees are going to be fighting for survival in the Premier League this campaign.

So, Everton manager Sean Dyche needs to have all of his best and regular first-team players available.

The 21-year-old has made five appearances in the Premier League so far this season.

The youngster has also played once in the EFL Cup for the Toffees.

Branthwaite has made 15 appearances in the Premier League so far in his career.

The defender has scored one goal and kept one clean sheet in those games.
