Don Hutchison thinks Jarrod Bowen will be ‘very high up’ on Liverpool’s transfer wishlist if Mohamed Salah leaves.
There was a lot of talk this summer about Mohamed Salah’s future, with the ever-growing Saudi Arabia Pro League trying to lure him to the Middle East.
Whilst the Liverpool legend stayed at Anfield this summer, many think this could be his final season on Merseyside.
And if that happens, then a big gaping hole will appear on the right-hand side and Hutchison has backed West Ham United’s speedster and goalscorer, Jarrod Bowen, to replace him, as he told Premier League Productions (01/10/23 at 6:50 pm).
David Moyes’ West Ham have made a pretty strong start to the new Premier League season and are sitting seventh in the Premier League table.
Jarrod Bowen, 26, has played a massive part in that, including scoring against Sheffield United over the weekend, his fifth Premier League goal this term.

Bowen to replace Salah at Liverpool?
“I tell you what, this is a player Jarrod Bowen, where if Mo Salah ever moves on from Liverpool,” said Hutchison.
“Then I think, on the radar, this guy will be very high up.”

Bowen in the Champions League
The Hammers have proven this summer with Declan Rice that they are willing to sell their star assets to Champions League teams.
If West Ham can’t get into the Champions League, then it will be interesting to see if those clubs in the elite come knocking for Bowen’s talents.
One thing is for sure, the former Hull City man is showing every sign that he belongs at the top level because his knack of being in the right place and having this composure to score goals is second to none.
