Mauricio Pochettino’s Chelsea have been linked with Club Brugge and Norway international forward Antonio Nusa.

Fabrizio Romano has reported that Chelsea are interested in signing Antonio Nusa from Club Brugge.

Chelsea linked with Antonio Nusa

The Italian journalist has claimed on Twitter that Chelsea made a bid for Nusa on the final day of the summer transfer window.

It was rejected.

Chelsea, though, remain keen on the 18-year-old forward.

Scouts of the former Premier League and UEFA Champions League winners will continue to monitor the Norway international forward, according to Romano.

Former Norway international forward Jan Åge Fjørtoft is a huge fan of his compatriot.

Chelsea target Antonio Nusa ‘the real deal’

Fjørtoft believes that top clubs, including Chelsea, should just sign Nusa without even scouting him.

The pundit made the comments about Nusa while watching him in action for Norway against Jordan on Thursday.

Norway won the match 6-0.

Nusa scored the opening goal for his side on 11 minutes.

The teenager started on the left of a front-three.

Nusa has made four appearances in the Jupiler Pro League for Club Brugge so far this season.

The forward has scored one goal and given one assist in those games.

The teenager made seven starts and 19 substitute appearances in the league last season.

Nusa scored one goal and gave one assist in those matches.

While Nusa is a big talent, we do not think that Chelsea need to sign him in the January transfer window.

After all, the Blues have more than enough attacking players who are young, promising and dynamic.

Where would Nusa fit in at Chelsea?

And the player himself may not be too keen on a move to Stamford Bridge in the January transfer window.

After all, the Norway international could struggle to even get on the bench at Chelsea.
