A Saudi Pro League side are reportedly ready to make an offer for Manchester United winger Jadon Sancho, as the Englishman’s future remains unknown.

The United winger has started a social media storm when he responded to Erik ten Hag’s statement about the 23-year-old’s poor performances in training.

Sancho, who earns £350,000 a week according to Spotrac, felt as if he was being scapegoated, although it is unclear if the Englishman was referring to Ten Hag or the media when it came to his statement.

The Englishman joined United from Borussia Dortmund for a fee in the region of £73 million back in 2021 but hasn’t really kicked on since his superb days in Germany.

According to Rudy Galetti, a Saudi side have enquired about the winger and are preparing an offer for the 23-year-old.

Whether United would countenance a sale of Sancho remains to be seen. The transfer window in England closed on the 1st of September, so it seems unlikely that United would sell the winger outside of the transfer window.

Sancho’s United future

The Englishman seemed to look promising at a false nine position during pre-season in America although that experiment seemingly was just a pre-season one as, since then, Sancho has been deployed on the wing and not down the middle.

While most of the world is wondering what will happen in relation to Mohamed Salah and a prospective move to Saudi Arabia, it seems that Manchester United star Jadon Sancho is another name being linked there.

It is no secret that the Saudi Pro League have a huge amount of money at their disposal, so you do wonder if the Saudi side offered a similar amount to what United paid for the winger two years back, if United would take it.

Nevertheless, Sancho’s future seems to be away from Old Trafford, especially after Sunday’s war of words.
