Arsenal midfielder Jorginho will not be leaving the north London club for Fenerbahce.
That is according to Jorginho‘s agent Joao Santos, who recently spoke to Tuttomercatoweb.
The Turkish transfer window does not close until September 15, but Santos says his client will not be leaving Arsenal for Fenerbahce.
“Jorginho is focused on Arsenal, on the Premier League and the Champions League,” Santos said. “He will not go to Fenerbahce.”
Jorginho is yet to start a game for Arsenal this season following the arrivals Declan Rice and Kai Havertz.
However, the 31-year-old could be about to get more minutes at the Emirates following Thomas Partey’s injury.
Arsenal should not sell Jorginho
Even if a good offer for Jorginho arrived and he wanted to leave, the Gunners should keep hold of him, at least until January.
As already mentioned, Partey is currently unavailable, while Jorginho is someone who can bring so much experience to this young Arsenal team.

It could come in handy ahead of Arsenal’s first Champions League campaign since the 2016/17 season, a competition the Italy international has obviously won.
All in all, Jorginho still has a lot to offer and Mikel Arteta would not be able to replace him with the transfer window in England now shut.
The likes of Rice and Martin Odegaard are going to be the Spaniard’s preferred options in the middle of the park, but Jorginho can still have a part to play this term, especially with Partey now sidelined.
From his perspective, he may not fancy a move to Turkey at this stage of his career either. The former Chelsea man, who was starting games for both Arsenal and their London rivals last season, is still clearly capable of playing at this level.
