Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta has raved about Declan Rice for his performance against Erik ten Hag’s Manchester United at the Emirates Stadium in North London in the Premier League on Sunday.
Mikel Arteta has told BBC Sport that Arsenal and England international midfielder Declan Rice was “tremendous” against Manchester United.
The Arsenal boss has said Rice dominated proceedings in the middle of the park.
The England international midfielder found the back of the net in the sixth minute of injury time to make it 2-1 for the home team.
Gabriel Jesus scored minutes later to win the match 3-1 for Arsenal.
During his time on the pitch, Rice took two shots and one ended in a goal, had a pass accuracy of 87.7%, won three headers, took 85 touches, and made one tackle, two interceptions and one clearance.

Arteta said: “Big matches for big players and Rice was tremendous.
“He dominated in the middle of the park, he understood what was needed and gave the team motivation and then produced the moment of magic to win the game.”
