Sky Sports Paul Merson has said that Jurgen Klopp’s Liverpool should make a bid for Arsenal winger Bukayo Saka in the January transfer window.
Paul Merson has said on Sky Sports News (12:11pm, September 2, 2023) that Liverpool should sell Mohamed Salah for £200 million in the coming days and then make a bid of £150 million for Arsenal and England international winger Bukayo Saka in the January transfer window.
Sky Sports reported on Friday that Al Ittihad had made a bid of £150 million for Salah on transfer deadline day.
Liverpool had rejected it.

Al Ittihad offered an initial £100 million rising to £150 million for the Egypt international forward.
According to the report, the Saudi Pro League club could come back with a second and improved offer of £200 million for the Egyptian star.
Liverpool told to sell Mohamed Salah and sign Bukayo Saka from Arsenal
Fomer Arsenal star Merson said about Liverpool and Salah: “They sell him for £200 million, and then in January, see if they can get Saka from Arsenal for £150 million.”
We do not think that Arsenal would sell Bukayo Saka to Liverpool even for £150 million.
Of course, that is a lot of money for a 21-year-old, but Saka is one of the best young players in the world and is a key figure at Arsenal.
It would not be easy for the Gunners to replace Saka even with £150 million.
Moreover, the Arsenal fans would not be happy at all.
After all, the England international came through the Arsenal academy.
If Liverpool do get an offer of £200 million for Salah in the coming days, then club owners FSG would have a really tough decision to make regarding the future of the forward.
