Sevilla manager Jose Luis Mendilibar fears he will lose Youssef En-Nesyri to West Ham United before the transfer window closes.
That is according to a report from AS.
It claims that Mendilibar is worried that Sevilla will be forced to watch Youssef En-Nesyri depart amid interest from West Ham.
The Hammers could sign a new striker after selling Gianluca Scamacca to Atalanta and En-Nesyri looks like a very affordable option.
Another report from AS claims that the 26-year-old could cost around £30m.
David Moyes really rates Youssef En-Nesyri
This is not the first time West Ham have been linked with En-Nesyri. In January 2021, The Athletic stated that the east London club made an offer for the Moroccan in the winter transfer window.
Moyes has even praised En-Nesyri publicly, describing him as an “incredible” runner in his Times column during the 2022 World Cup.
It is clear to see, then, that the Scotsman really appreciates the Sevilla star’s talent and would welcome him at the London Stadium.

Moyes has Michail Antonio and Danny Ings as his current centre-forward options, but it appears that he still wants more.
It is understandable. West Ham had a brilliant 2022/23 season after winning the Europa Conference League and have made a great start to this one after beating Chelsea and Brighton & Hove Albion. Moyes will want to build on that and En-Nesyri may be able to help him do that.
The Morocco international has not been at his best recently. He scored just eights goals in 31 La Liga appearances last term.
However, in the 2020/21 campaign, En-Nesyri found the back of the net 18 times in 38 league outings, showing that he can be a threat when he is at the top of his game. It will now be interesting to see if Moyes can finally land his man.
