Tottenham Hotspur are in negotiations to sell goalkeeper Hugo Lloris to Lazio this summer.
That is according to a report from Gianluca Di Marzio‘s website.
It states that Tottenham and Lazio are trying to reach an agreement on a transfer fee for Hugo Lloris, who is keen to leave north London.
The Frenchman confirmed in June that he wanted to depart the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium for a new challenge.
“It’s the end of an era,” he told Nice-Matin. “I have desires for other things. I will ask myself quietly to study what will be possible.”
Whatever happens, Lloris has been a great servant to Spurs after arriving at the club back in 2012.
Hugo Lloris should get his move this summer
It is hard to imagine Daniel Levy denying Lloris his transfer. If the Tottenham chairman can sell Harry Kane, then he should not have too much of a problem letting the 36-year-old go, especially considering the situation that he is in.
Lloris does not want to be at Spurs anymore, while the north London outfit have already bought a new No.1 to replace him, Guglielmo Vicario.
There is thus no reason for Tottenham to keep hold of the £100,000-a-week (Spotrac) shot-stopper.

The question now is, can Lazio agree a fee with their English counterparts to sign Lloris? If not, the World Cup winner should have plenty of other options.
He is an experienced goalkeeper who has played at the highest level for both club and country. For anyone who is looking for a new shot-stopper, Lloris should be high on their list.
As of now, Lazio seem to be the team in pole position to land his signature and if they do, his arrival at the Stadio Olimpico could help them to have a very good season in Serie A.
