Mauricio Pochettino’s Chelsea are now expected to beat Jurgen Klopp’s Liverpool to the signing of Moises Caicedo from Brighton and Hove Albion.
The Guardian journalist Jacob Steinberg has reported on Twitter that Brighton and Hove Albion midfielder Moises Caicedo is “expected” to move to Chelsea and snub Liverpool.
Steinberg has claimed that Chelsea are now ready to pay as much as £115 million for Caicedo.
The 21-year-old Ecuador international defensive midfielder has decided to snub a potential move to Liverpool, according to the reporter.
Chelsea are paying too much for Liverpool target Moises Caicedo
In our view, Chelsea are paying way too much for Liverpool target and Brighton and Hove Albion midfielder Moises Caicedo in the summer transfer window.
There is no way that Caicedo is worth £115 million.
Absolutely no way.

After all, the midfielder has made only a handful of appearances in the Premier League.
And he is just 21.
Caicedo has made 45 appearances in the Premier League so far in his career.
The midfielder has scored two goals and given two assists in those games.
Liverpool reportedly agreed a £110 million deal with Brighton for Caicedo.
And now Chelsea are willing to pay £115 million.
That is simply too much.
What Chelsea are paying for is potential.
Caicedo is not one of the best defensive midfielders in the world at the moment.
But, he could become in the future.
And that is what Chelsea are paying for now.
And, in our view, it is a risk.
