Unai Emery’s Aston Villa have been offered the chance to sign Wilfried Gnonto from Leeds United in the summer transfer window.

Journalist Dean Jones has told GiveMeSport that Leeds United winger Wilfried Gnonto has been offered to Aston Villa.

The Villans are now considering whether or not to sign the Italy international winger.

Jones has claimed that West Ham United and Everton are also keen on signing the 19-year-old this summer.

Leeds are playing in the Championship this season after getting relegated from the Premier League.

Jones said about Gnonto: ”As a person, he’s one of the happiest players in the country, and he’s got this amazing personality that he’s shown since joining, but don’t be fooled into thinking that beneath that smile is not someone who is extremely driven by the need to be successful here and now.

“We saw flashes of absolute brilliance last season, and he’s proven to himself and other clubs that he’s Premier League quality. He’s got options here and in Italy that are still being explored.

“He could be an option for West Ham, while Everton like him, and I’ve heard him mentioned as someone Fulham have had half an eye on too, while they look to recruit a creative player if Callum Hudson-Odoi was to fall flat.

“Aston Villa have been offered the chance to sign him and are making a decision on that at the moment.”

Aston Villa should seriously consider signing Leeds United winger Wilfried Gnonto

In our opinion, Aston Villa should seriously consider a move for Leeds United winger Wilfried Gnonto in the summer transfer window.

The teenager is one of the best young players around and is an Italy international.

Gnonto did not always start regularly for Leeds last season, but he was always a handful for the opposition players when he played.

The teenager made 14 starts and 10 substitute appearances in the Premier League for Leeds last season.

The winger, who was described by Andrea Radrizzani as “exceptional” in TuttoMercatoWeb in March, scored two goals and gave four assists in those matches.

Gnonto is only 19 now and has huge potential.

Not only would the winger be able to make an impact at Villa now, but he would be able to grow and develop even further as well.
