Crysencio Summerville has lauded Leeds United’s new star Archie Gray after the 17-year-old made his senior debut against Cardiff City over the weekend.
Daniel Farke handed the midfielder a start during the 2-2 draw, and despite Leeds’ poor start and dropped points, the man related to club legend Eddie Gray impressed many.
Sitting in the middle of the park, playing against the experience of former Arsenal player and Wales star Aaron Ramsey, he progressed the ball in a fantastic manner and made all the right decisions.
It has seen the teenage star get a lot of rave reviews, including from Crysencio Summerville, who shared his reaction on the player’s Instagram.
Archie Gray posted to fans that it was his ‘dream’ to make his full debut for his boyhood club, with a number of teammates bigging him up in the comments section.
Summerville, who scored the stoppage-time equaliser against Cardiff, wrote ‘what a talent’ in the comments section, whilst Wilfried Gnonto, who is two years older than Gray, added, ‘just the beginning’.

“Dream come true to make my full debut for the club I’ve always supported,” said Gray. “
Thank you to the fans for your support. We keep working and onto the next!”
Archie Gray in the Championship
Perhaps if Leeds were still in the Premier League, then Gray wouldn’t have been handed this chance, but that’s the strange life of football sometimes.
Now, Daniel Farke is tasked with trying to get the Yorkshire club back up at the first time of asking.
And someone like Gray is seemingly going to be a prominent feature, so regardless of what happens, this is going to seriously enhance and improve every aspect of his game at such a tender age.
