Wolverhampton Wanderers manager Julen Lopetegui has been reportedly frustrated with his current predicament at Premier League side Wolves, so could he make the move to Saudi Arabia.
According to The Mirror, the former Sevilla man is considering his future at the club as the Premier League sides’ conservativeness in the transfer market, because of Financial Fair Play issues, is said to be frustrating the Spaniard.
It is said that the fed-up Spaniard has already been concerned about having to sell off established talents such as Nathan Collins, Ruben Neves and Raul Jimenez without replacing them.
Now, according to the same report, Bournemouth are also poised to pinch Wolves’ top transfer target, £25million Bristol City youngster Alex Scott.
Were Lopetegui to depart from Wolves, after a successful albeit frustrating time in England, could the 56-year-old make the move to the Saudi Pro League?

He’s been linked previously
Back in June, in the midst of the Saudi Pro League’s determination to sign some of the best talents in Europe, the targets were originally the best players in Europe before they began to pivot to targeting some of the best managers in Europe.
Massimilano Allegri was previously linked by 90min to Al-Ahli and Al-Nassr but nothing materialised.
Interestingly, so was the Spaniard according to the same report. He turned them down and was convinced of the project in the Midlands, although that hasn’t materialised.
The problem is for Lopetegui that there are currently no managerial availabilities from the top sides of the Saudi Pro League, so a move to the Middle East may well be a tough one.
If the Spaniard were to end his time at Molineux then he may well take a sabbatical and think about his next managerial quest, and if he waits until January, then there may well be more jobs available for him to choose from in the Saudi Pro League if he wishes.
