Leeds United attacker Wilfried Gnonto does not want to join Everton this summer.
That is according to one report from TEAMtalk.
The outlet claims that Wilfried Gnonto has informed his agent that a move to Everton is not appealing to him.
The 19-year-old appears to be a key target for the Toffees this transfer window, with the Daily Mail having reported last month that they had a £15m bid for his services rejected by Leeds.
With the Whites playing hardball and Gnonto seemingly not open to a switch to Goodison Park, it looks like Sean Dyche will have to turn elsewhere to improve his attack.
Everton would not be a bad move for Wilfried Gnonto
While Gnonto appears to be against the idea of joining the Toffees, a transfer to the Merseyside club does not sound terrible.
Everton did not have the best attack last season, scoring just 34 goals in the Premier League. With that in mind, he probably has a good chance of breaking into their team and being a regular starter, which would obviously be great for the teenager’s development.

It, of course, gives him the opportunity to remain in the English top flight as well.
Gnonto is a very talented individual who showed a lot of potential in the previous campaign. Leeds’ former caretaker boss Michael Skubala hailed him as a “special player” in an interview with Viaplay Fotball.
Ultimately, you can see why Everton want him. Unfortunately for Dyche and the Toffees, though, it seems a move to Goodison Park is not on his mind right now.
Everton have at least been able to bring in Arnaut Danjuma on loan. The versatile forward should be able to give their attack a much-needed boost, though they will probably need a bit more than him if they are going to avoid another relegation battle.
