Arsenal striker Folarin Balogun has told the Gunners to lower their demands, according to a report.

Journalist Ben Jacobs has reported on Twitter that Folarin Balogun has directly told Arsenal to lower their demands by £10 million.

Balogun reportedly believes that Arsenal are pricing him out of a move in the summer transfer window.

The 22-year-old USA international striker does not want to leave Arsenal on a loan deal this summer and wants a permanent exit.

Inter Milan are keen on signing the striker, but the former Serie A and UEFA Champions League winners do not want to pay £45 million for him.

Inter are now reportedly trying to sign Gianluca Scamacca from West Ham.

According to Jacobs, some at Arsenal believe that Balogun is worth £50 million.

Arsenal should be firm over Folarin Balogun valuation

In our opinion, Arsenal should be firm over their valuation of Folarin Balogun.

If Arsenal think that they will get £45 million for the striker, then they should not lower their demands.

We ourselves do not think that the USA international is worth £45 million.

After all, Balogun has had just one good season, and that too in Ligue 1.

The striker was on loan at Reims last season.

Balogun made 34 starts and three substitute appearances in Ligue 1.

The 22-year-old scored 21 goals and gave two assists in those matches.

You cannot ask for £45 million for just one good season in Ligue 1.

However, if Arsenal believe that it is what they will get, then they should stick to their stance.

After all, if the Gunners are unable to sell Balogun for that price, then they could just keep him in the squad for next season.

Arsenal will be aiming to win the Premier League title next season and will also play in the UEFA Champions League, so Balogun could be an asset for manager Mikel Arteta.
