Tottenham Hotspur could reportedly be about to sell Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg to Atletico Madrid.
According to The Times, Atletico Madrid are interested in signing Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg from Tottenham Hotspur in the summer transfer window.
The report has claimed that La Liga club Atletico have made a bid of £16 million for Hojbjerg.
Spurs have rejected it.
However, according to the report, Premier League club Tottenham and Atletico are “expected” to “reach a deal” for the £100,000-a-week (SalarySport) Denmark international.
Tottenham Hotspur should keep Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg
In our opinion, Tottenham Hotspur should not sell Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg to Atletico Madrid in the summer transfer window.
We believe that Hojbjerg still has a role to play for Spurs under new head coach Ange Postecoglou.

The Denmark international midfielder is at the top of his game at the age of 27.
Hojbjerg knows the Premier League inside out and has done well for Spurs.
And let us not forget that he did well at Southampton too.
Tottenham should not sell an experienced player like Hojbjerg ahead of a very big season.
Spurs will be aiming to finish in the top four of the Premier League table next season.
Hojbjerg will be useful and important for Postecoglou.
The midfielder has made 218 appearances in the Premier League so far in his career.
Hojbjerg has scored 12 goals and given 15 assists in those games.
The 27-year-old made 35 appearances in the Premier League for Tottenham last season.
Hojbjerg scored four goals and gave five assists in those matches.
