Mauricio Pochettino’s Chelsea are now actively trying to get a deal done for Ajax star Mohammed Kudus, according to a report.
Rudy Galetti has reported on Twitter that Chelsea have verbally agreed personal terms with Ajax ace Mohammed Kudus.
The former Premier League and UEFA Champions League winners are now in talks with the Eredivisie outfit over the transfer fee for Kudus, according to the Italian journalist.
Chelsea are not the only club who are interested in Kudus, who was described as “outrageous” by former Manchester United centre-back Rio Ferdinand on BT Sport in September 2022.
90min has claimed that Arsenal and Manchester United are also interested in signing the 22-year-old Ghana international, who can operate as an attacking midfielder or as a winger.
The 22-year-old made 19 starts and 11 substitute appearances in the Eredivisie for Ajax last season.
The youngster scored 11 goals and gave three assists in those matches.
Kudus scored one goal in two UEFA Europa League for Ajax last season.

The forward made five starts and one substitute appearance in the UEFA Champions League last season.
The Ajax star scored four goals and gave two assists in those matches.
Exciting Mohammed Kudus update for Chelsea fans
In our opinion, Rudy Galetti’s update on Mohammed Kudus is very exciting and encouraging for Chelsea fans.
It seems that the Blues could be able to sign the forward in the summer transfer window.
After all, the player himself is ready to join Chelsea, who are now in active talks with Ajax over a fee.
It will be interesting to see how much Ajax demand in transfer fees for Kudus.
Chelsea will be determined to finish in the top four of the Premier League table next season and potentially challenge for the title.
