Mikel Arteta’s Arsenal reportedly want more than what Inter Milan are offering for striker Folarin Balogun.

According to FC Inter News, Inter Milan are interested in signing Folarin Balogun from Arsenal in the summer transfer window.

The former Serie A and UEFA Champions League winners have reportedly offered Arsenal €35 million (£30 million) plus £5 million (£4.29 million) in bonuses.

Arsenal have turned it down.

The Gunners want more than that.

Arsenal in control of Folarin Balogun situation

In our opinion, Arsenal hold all the cards when it comes to Folarin Balogun.

The Gunners are under no pressure to sell the USA international striker, who was described as “one of the most exciting young forwards in world football” by coach Saul Isaksson-Hurst on Sky Sports this week.

After all, the 22-year-old has a contract with Arsenal until the summer of 2025.

Balogun did extremely well last season.

The striker was on loan at Reims from Arsenal last season.

The 22-year-old made 34 starts and three substitute appearances in Ligue 1 for Reims.

Balogun scored 21 goals and gave two assists in those games.

If Arsenal do not get the transfer fee they want for Balogun, then they could just keep him in the squad.

After all, Arsenal will be determined to win the Premier League title next season and will also play in the UEFA Champions League.

The Gunners will hope to go into the latter stages of the UEFA Champions League next season.

Balogun would be an asset for Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta.

Gabriel Jesus is the number one striker at Arsenal at the moment.

Eddie Nketiah was the second-choice striker for the Gunners last season.

If Balogun stays at Arsenal, then he could move move Nketiah in the pecking order.
