Tyler Adams has posted on his Instagram story ‘back soon’ as he looks to return from a long-term injury lay-off.

The USMNT international missed the final few months of last season because of a hamstring injury and, as a result, he couldn’t stop Leeds United’s relegation to the Championship.

Even though the Whites were pretty abject from a defensive aspect, one man that can still hold his head up high is Tyler Adams himself.

The hard-hitting midfielder was outstanding in the middle of the park and it could be argued that the team would have stayed up had he not got injured.

Nonetheless, with new manager Daniel Farke now preparing for life in the Championship, he will want to have Adams as part of his plans going forward.

Well, for now, the player himself is preparing to return in Leeds colours, with a simple two-word message on his Instagram story that read ‘back soon’, added with a video of him running. All of which are positive signs for the fans.

Will Adams make a return to the Premier League?

There are a host of Premier League clubs keen to take him on board this summer, including Jurgen Klopp’s Liverpool and David Moyes’ West Ham United.

Whilst Leeds fans don’t like to hear it, he would be a brilliant purchase for those two sides.

West Ham are building for life after Declan Rice, whilst the Reds are looking to rebuild their midfield after last season’s woes.

But, and it’s a big but, if he stays put at Elland Road, then the club’s chances of earning promotion increase in massive, massive ways.
