Ange Postecoglou’s Tottenham Hotspur are now actively trying to sign Kylian Mbappe, but they are facing competition from Mauricio Pochettino’s Chelsea and Erik ten Hag’s Manchester United.
Journalist Peter Hall has reported on Twitter that Tottenham Hotspur, Manchester United and Chelsea all are interested in signing Kylian Mbappe from Paris Saint-Germain in the summer transfer window.
Hall has claimed that United, Spurs and Chelsea all made enquiries about signing the 24-year-old France international forward this past weekend.
However, it seems that it is Saudi Arabian club Al Hilal who are the most active in the pursuit of Mbappe.
Al Hilal have made a world-record bid for the 2018 World Cup winner with France and are ready to pay the forward, who has “frightening speed”, according to former Aston Villa striker Gabriel Agbonlahor, a massive salary.
Tottenham Hotspur are being hugely ambitious regarding Kylian Mbappe
In our opinion, Tottenham Hotspur are being very ambitious regarding Kylian Mbappe.
We do not think that Spurs would be able to sign the Frenchman in the summer transfer window.
Yes, Tottenham are a big club, but they are not at the level to attract a global superstar like Mbappe.
Spurs will not even play in the UEFA Champions League next season and are unlikely to win the Premier League title anytime soon.

Marca has claimed that the forward has always wanted to play for Real Madrid.
Madrid are arguably the biggest club in the world, and we believe that Mbappe would pick Los Blancos before any other European team.
Mbappe scored 29 goals and gave five assists in Ligue 1 and scored seven goals and provided three assists in the UEFA Champions League for PSG last season.
The 24-year-old scored 28 goals and provided 17 assists in Ligue 1 and scored six goals and gave four assists in the UEFA Champions League in 2021-22.
