Tony Cascarino says he ‘can’t believe’ that Romelu Lukaku is ‘so determined’ to leave Chelsea this summer as he returns from his loan spell at Inter.
Even though Inter reached the final of the Champions League last season, Romelu Lukaku didn’t have a great time in Italy, with injuries and a lack of starts disrupting his team in Milan.
Now, the 30-year-old returns to Chelsea where, as of this moment, he will be playing for Mauricio Pochettino ahead of the new Premier League campaign.
But it seems as though the hard-hitting forward is keen to leave, which former Chelsea man Cascarino ‘can’t believe’, as he told talkSPORT.
That interview Lukaku gave to Italian TV during his first six months of returning to Stamford Bridge was a clear sign that he just didn’t want to be in London.
And ever since then, it has gone downhill for the player, with Cascarino sharing his thoughts on the £325k-a-week star’s (Spotrac) situation.

“Lukaku stands out for me,” said Cascarino. “I just can’t believe how he is so determined to leave Chelsea.”

Lukaku’s career…
When the former Manchester United star is supposed to be hitting the peak of his powers, it could be argued that his career is going towards a downward slope.
Chelsea are in desperate need of a number nine, yet not many seem to be jumping at the idea of Lukaku being that guy to lead them forward.
And now there are suggestions that Inter are looking at Arsenal youngster Folarin Balogun this summer, as reported by Sky Sports.
All in all, it’s not a good look for Lukaku himself.
