David Moyes’s West Ham United are reportedly planning to move for Manchester United defender Harry Maguire, a player Harry Kane wants Tottenham Hotspur to sign in the summer transfer window.

According to The Telegraph, West Ham United are keen on signing Manchester United central defender Harry Maguire, who is on the radar of Tottenham Hotspur as well.

The report has claimed that Maguire is happy at the Red Devils and is ready to fight for his place in the first team.

But West Ham manager David Moyes wants the 30-year-old, and the London club are now planning to make a bid for him after getting £100 million from Arsenal for Declan Rice.

The Telegraph has added that Manchester United manager Erik ten Hag is “ready to sell Maguire to help raise funds to reinvest in the squad” and has also removed the England international defender from the captaincy.

The Red Devils want £50 million for the £190,000-a-week defender, according to the publication.

Tottenham Hotspur should bid amid West Ham United interest in Harry Maguire

In our opinion, Tottenham Hotspur should make a bid of their own for Harry Maguire and try to beat West Ham United to the signature of the Manchester United defender.

In June, The Daily Star reported that Tottenham want to sign Maguire.

The report claimed that Spurs striker Kane and Maguire are “good pals having bonded on England duty”, and that the striker has “recommended Maguire to higher-ups on a number of occasions” and wants Tottenham to bring him to Tottenham Hotspur Stadium.

GiveMeSport reported last week interest from West Ham and Tottenham in the defender.

If West Ham are now about to make a move for the 30-year-old, then London rivals Tottenham should not be left behind and should make a bid of their own.
