Fabrizio Romano has reported on Twitter that Chelsea head coach Mauricio Pochettino has decided to sell Romelu Lukaku in the summer transfer window.
The Italian journalist has reported that Mauricio Pochettino is backing the Chelsea board’s stance on Romelu Lukaku.
The Chelsea bosses want to get rid of the Belgium international striker for €40 million (£34.35 million).
And Pochettino agrees with them, according to Romano.
Romano has added that Juventus are interested in the £325,000-a-week (The London Evening Standard) striker, but Serie A rivals Inter Milan have decided to move on.
The Telegraph has reported that Inter have ended their interest in Lukaku after having two bids for the former Manchester United striker turned down.
Juventus are now leading the race for Lukaku, according to the report.
No future at Chelsea for Romelu Lukaku
It does not appear likely that Romelu Lukaku will ever play for Chelsea again.
If Mauricio Pochettino has now decided not to include the striker in his plans, then it is hard to see the former Tottenham Hotspur head coach change his mind anytime soon.
The Telegraph has reported that Chelsea have already flown to the United States of America for their pre-season tour.

Lukaku has not gone with the Chelsea players to the USA.
The report has claimed that the 30-year-old will return to Chelsea on Tuesday and report for training at Cobham.
The striker has made 278 appearances in the Premier League so far in his career.
Lukaku has scored 121 goals and provided 35 assists in those games.
The striker was on loan at Inter from Chelsea last season.
The 30-year-old helped the Nerazzurri to the final of the UEFA Champions League in 2022-23.
Lukaku made 19 starts and six substitute appearances in Serie A for Inter last season.
The former Manchester United striker scored 10 goals and gave six assists in those games.
Lukaku also scored three goals and provided one assist in eight substitute appearances in the UEFA Champions League for Inter last season.
