Tottenham Hotspur goalkeeper Hugo Lloris now considering firm offers from European and Saudi Arabian clubs.

Hugo Lloris looks set to leave Tottenham Hotspur with offers from Europe and Saudi Arabia on the table.

That is according to a report from 90Min, who claim that Lloris is considering multiple offers to leave Tottenham.

Clubs in Europe are understood to be interested but there are also offers from teams in Saudi Arabia.

The latter would certainly give Lloris a lucrative next step, which could be appealing to the Frenchman.

Lloris has been left out of Tottenham’s tour to Asia after Tottenham granted him permission to seek a transfer.

The veteran clearly has plenty of interest and a departure from Tottenham should be secured soon enough.

Tottenham made right decision leaving Hugo Lloris out of their squad

It’s maybe a sad end to Lloris’s time at Tottenham, but this decision simply had to be made.

Tottenham have already secured the heir to Lloris by signing Italian stopper Guglielmo Vicario from Empoli.

The time is right for Tottenham to give Vicario the majority of pre-season minutes in order to help him settle in.

Having the shadow of Lloris lurking behind him just wouldn’t help anyone and Spurs have made the sensible decision to leave him at home.

The ball is now in the 36-year-old’s court as he weighs up the offers from Europe and Saudi Arabia.

Lloris has been a great servant for Tottenham, racking up nearly 450 appearances for Spurs since signing from Lyon for £12million back in 2012.

The time has come for him to go though, and Spurs are hoping this doesn’t drag out.

Saudi Arabia continue to go for the big names

This has been the summer of Saudi Arabia as stars from all over the globe have headed for the Middle East.

Al Ittihad have snapped up Jota, Karim Benzema and N’Golo Kante with Liverpool ace Fabinho seemingly on the way.

Al Hilal have splashed out for Ruben Neves and Kalidou Koulibaly as well as Sergej Milinkovic-Savic.

Roberto Firmino and Edouard Mendy have headed to Al Ahli whilst Marcelo Brozovic has joined Cristiano Ronaldo’s Al Nassr.

More and more players are expected to head over there with Lloris potentially next, possibly joining his former French international teammates Kante and Benzema.
