David Moyes’s West Ham United are now reportedly actively trying to sign Tyler Adams from Leeds United.

According to The Daily Mail, West Ham United are interested in signing Tyler Adams from Leeds United in the summer transfer window.

The report has claimed that the Hammers “have made approaches” for Leeds and USA international midfielder Adams, as well as for Juventus midfielder Denis Zakaria, Southampton’s James-Ward-Prowse and Leicester City’s Harvey Barnes.

Could West Ham United sign Tyler Adams from Leeds United?

In our opinion, West Ham United could be able to sign Tyler Adams from Leeds United in the summer transfer window.

Yes, Leeds are a big club, but they will play in the Championship next season after getting relegated from the Premier League.

So, the West Yorkshire club could have to sell some of their best players.

Adams did well for Leeds in the Premier League last season, and the USA international midfielder could be tempted to move to West Ham in the summer of 2023.

The Hammers won the UEFA Europa Conference League last season and will play in the UEFA Europa League next campaign.

West Ham are a big and established club in the Premier League.

The £55,000-a-week (Spotrac) 24-year-old himself might not fancy playing a year in the second tier of English football.

Adams, whose 2022-23 campaign ended early due to injury, made 24 appearances in the Premier League and played two matches for the FA Cup for Leeds last season.
