Real Madrid starlet Sergio Arribas is the subject of transfer interest from a number of clubs around Europe, including Girona and Borussia Dortmund.
The versatile midfielder looks set to depart as there is no clear pathway to the first team despite his talent.
Girona have joined the race for the 21-year-old, and Real Madrid could consider a repeat deal of the one which took Miguel Gutierrez to Michel’s side.
A report in Mundo Deportivo has claimed that Girona are very keen on the youngster, and the presence of Gutierrez there could help convince Arribas to join.
Real could receive multiple offers for the Spaniard, but the previous dealings with Girona may give them an edge.
What should Real Madrid do with Arribas?
The arrival of Jude Bellingham, to an already fiercely competitive midfield, means that Arribas is highly unlikely to gain any first-team action under Carlo Ancelotti next season.
A deal similar to that of Gutierrez, which could see Arribas sold this summer with a sell-on clause and a first-refusal option, could suit all parties.

Girona could gain a very talented player, Real Madrid can earn some money now, and let Arribas develop with the potential to earn more or bring him back further down the line.
Arribas can join a team filled with young talents, and the presence of his former teammate could help him settle well.
The midfielder scored 20 goals in 36 games for Real Madrid Castilla this season, and has made 14 senior appearances. His ability to play in midfield, as a winger and as a forward, makes him an attractive proposal for a lot of clubs.
Arribas is another vastly talented player who can count themselves unfortunate to not break into the Real Madrid squad. Given the strength in depth Real now have in midfield, there will be limited opportunity for other youngsters to gain gametime alongside the likes of Bellingham and Eduardo Camavinga next season.
