Rodrigo Moreno will leave Leeds United and become a Sevilla player next week with the Spain international set to complete his return to La Liga.
The Europa League winners have re-designed themselves as something of a rescue home for ageing, talented forwards in need of a fresh start, and Rodrigo Moreno will be the latest big-name to arrive in Andalusia after Erik Lamela, Papu Gomez and co.
Vamos di Sevilla report that the former Valencia forward will officially become a Sevilla player on July 1st. Last season’s top scorer, Rodrigo leaves Leeds United following their relegation from the Premier League, and is expected to take a pay cut with his £100,000-a-week wages too rich for Sevilla’s blood.

A return to Spain will also see Rodrigo link up with Victor Orta; the long-serving Leeds director who played a major role in the 32-year-old’s move to West Yorkshire in 2020.
Orta replaced the legendary Monchi at the Ramon Sanchez Pizjuan earlier this month.
Rodrigo Moreno on verge of Leeds United exit
“I know about the of interest,” Rodrigo’s agent and father, Adalberto Machado, told DAZN last week. “Sevilla will always be a team that will have our interest, obviously.”
Rodrigo will reportedly replace Argentina international and World Cup winner Gomez.
The former Atalanta star will become the latest high-profile star to embark upon a money-spinning switch to the Middle East; Gomez reportedly joining Cristiano Ronaldo, N’Golo Kante, Ruben Neves, Karim Benzema, Kalidou Koulibaly and co in Saudi Arabia.

Ahead of what is likely to be a summer of serious change at Leeds United, Rodrigo will not be the only departure.
Leeds could also lose Crysencio Summerville, Marc Roca and Junior Firpo following the confirmation of their return to the EFL.
Wilfried Gnonto’s agent, meanwhile, admits that the Italian’s ‘idea’ is to stay in the Premier League with Everton, Crystal Palace and West Ham United reportedly keen.
