Ange Postecoglou’s Tottenham Hotspur have now been linked with Celtic defender Cameron Carter-Vickers.
According to The Daily Star, Celtic defender Cameron Carter-Vickers is on the radar of new Tottenham Hotspur head coach Ange Postecoglou.
Postecoglou worked with the USA international defender and former Spurs academy graduate when he was in charge of Celtic.
Could Celtic defender Cameron Carter-Vickers succeed at Tottenham Hotspur?
In our view, it would not be a bad idea for Tottenham Hotspur to give Cameron Carter-Vickers a second chance.
The USA international has been superb for Celtic and is a key player in the team for the Glasgow giants.

The 25-year-old centre-back has won the Scottish Premiership title twice, the Scottish League Cup on two occasions, and the Scottish Cup once.
Carter-Vickers was on the books of Tottenham from 2009 until 2022.
During those years at the North London club, the central defender failed to make a single appearance in the Premier League.
The 25-year-old was deemed not good enough.
Carter-Vickers had loan spells at Sheffield United, Ipswich Town, Swansea City, Stoke City, Luton Town, AFC Bournemouth and Celtic while he was under contract at Tottenham.
And then in the summer of 2022, Spurs sold the American defender to Celtic for £6 million (The Daily Mail).
Now, of course, the Premier League is a very different level to the Scottish Premiership, but if Postecoglou thinks that Carter-Vickers would be a success in the top fight of English football, then Spurs should at least consider a move.
