Joao Felix has liked Fabrizio Romano’s post on Instagram that Mikel Arteta’s Arsenal are now on the verge of signing Chelsea forward Kai Havertz.

The Italian journalist sent out his trademark ‘Here We Go’ message in regards to Kai Havertz being on the move and how Arsenal are paying their London rivals ‘£65 million’ for their player.

He added on Instagram that there will be a ‘statement soon’ and that message was liked by several players, including Jorginho, Gabriel Magalhaes and Joao Felix, who all seemingly approved the deal.

Another Chelsea player heading to Arsenal

From Petr Cech to Willian, if and when this Havertz deal is confirmed, then it’s another Chelsea player that will be swapping Stamford Bridge for the Emirates.

It could be argued, none have previously really worked, Cech did okay, but in truth, it was clear that he was at the back end of his career, whilst Willian was well off it, fans couldn’t wait to get David Luiz out of the door, whilst Jorginho is still trying to find his feet after joining in January.

Either way, given the profile of the move, and the transfer fee on his head, then this is a highly-pressured transfer for the ‘outstanding talent’, as the German’s every move is now going to be scrutinized.

Arteta has to be trusted with Havertz

There is a lot of uncertainty with this transfer and many can’t understand why Arsenal are signing the 24-year-old, but this is where Arteta needs to be trusted.

Let’s be honest, when he brought the likes of Aaron Ramsdale and Ben White to the club, they were also questioned, yet fans are happy with them now.

There were even some doubts with Martin Odegaard and it could be argued that he was probably Arsenal’s best player during the recently-concluded campaign.
