Money talks and Saudi Arabia are talking loudly as they aim to nab some big-name Premier League stars and prize them away from the so-called best league in the world, with Tottenham Hotspur’s Son Heung-min and Arsenal’s Thomas Partey just some of the names mentioned.

Wolves midfielder Ruben Neves is close to seemingly moving to the Saudi Pro League, whilst Chelsea are also looking to offload a number of their senior players to the other side of the world.

All in all, it’s not pleased Sky Sports pundit Gary Neville who called for the Premier League to ‘look into this Saudi trading NOW’, as he posted on his Instagram story.

That possible Neves deal is surprising fans because he is only 26, whilst Tottenham speedster Son also has a big call to make because the Saudis are knocking on his door as well, it has been suggested Spurs could make a £29 million profit if they decided to sell him.

Across north London, it has been claimed that Thomas Partey has been giving permission to speak about a possible move to the Middle East, as reported by 90min.

All in all, those running the ship at Saudi are serious about bringing in the top, top players from across Europe, no matter their age, but these rumours involving Premier League teams aren’t sitting well with Gary Neville.

“Any chance the Premier League can look into this Saudi trading like NOW!!!,” pleaded Neville. “Get a regulator in asp that’s agile enough to stop these things at source!

“If it doesn’t look right, it’s probably not right! Independence is required asap. The Governance of our game is a mess.”

Will Son and Partey leave?

Money is the lure here and someone like Son doesn’t seem like the type of player that would pack his bags at Hotspur Way and leave, so Spurs fans shouldn’t be too worried.

The Partey situation is interesting because it seems as though Mikel Arteta is happy for him to leave, and if the club gets a big offer from a Saudi club, then they are being helped out, in regards to getting a very good transfer fee for a player they don’t want.

The same for Chelsea, who spent a stupid amount over two transfer windows and now they need players to leave, with the likes of N’Golo Kante, Hakim Ziyech, Romelu Lukaku and Kalidou Koulibaly all being talked about.
