Jason Cundy has warned Mikel Arteta’s Arsenal about signing Chelsea forward Kai Havertz.
According to The Telegraph, Arsenal want to sign Kai Havertz from London and Premier League rivals Chelsea in the summer transfer window.
The Gunners have reportedly had an initial bid for the 24-year-old turned down.
However, Arsenal and Chelsea remain in talks over a possible deal for the £250,000-a-week Germany international, who can operate as an attacking midfielder or as a forward.
Former Chelsea player and talkSPORT pundit Cundy has raised doubts on whether Havertz would be the right player for Arsenal.
Cundy said about Havertz on talkSPORT: “Technically he is a brilliant footballer. For me, though, he lacks a bit of heart. If you are in a battle, I am not sure he is the man you want.”
The pundit added: “The thing for me, if I was an Arsenal fan, that would concern me is he goes missing. He lacks a little of bit of steel, a little bit of fight, he can drift out of games very, very quickly.”

Could Chelsea forward Kai Havertz succeed at Arsenal?
In our view, Chelsea attacker Kai Havertz could be a success for Arsenal if he joined Mikel Arteta’s side.
Now, while Havertz has not been a huge success at Chelsea, we must note that there have been managerial changes and upheavals at the Blues.
Arsenal are now a stable club where Arteta has a clear idea of how to play his football.
If Arteta wants to sign the German star, then he will certainly have a defined role for him in the team.
Havertz is a versatile attacking player who could play in a creative role in midfield or as a centre-forward.
And he is still only 24.
