West Ham United midfielder Declan Rice wants to join only and only Mikel Arteta’s Arsenal, according to a report.

According to The London Evening Standard, Arsenal, Manchester United, Chelsea and Manchester City all are interested in signing Declan Rice from Premier League rivals West Ham United in the summer transfer window.

However, the 24-year-old England international midfielder wants to move to only Arsenal and “has his heart set on joining Mikel Arteta at the Emirates”.

“Rice has been offered a prominent role at the heart of Mikel Arteta’s midfield and will not encourage approaches from any of Arsenal’s rivals,” according to the report.

The London Evening Standard have added that Arsenal have an initial offer of £80 million for Rice turned down and are now planning to make another bid close to £100 million.

Declan Rice from West Ham United to Arsenal only a matter of time

In our view, it is only a matter of time before Declan Rice completes his move from West Ham United to Arsenal.

With the Gunners having already made a huge bid and the player keen on a switch to the Emirates Stadium, it is unlikely that West Ham will not sell him now.

Now, of course, the Hammers will want as much as they can from the Gunners, so it could take a while for the two London clubs to come to an agreement.

However, we are only at the start of the summer transfer window.

We believe that sooner or later Rice will become an Arsenal player.

Rice is one of the best midfielders in the Premier League, and he would make Arsenal better, stronger and more solid in the middle of the park.
