Tottenham Hotspur central defender Davinson Sanchez wants to leave, according to Fabrizio Romano.
Italian journalist Romano has reported on Twitter that Davinson Sanchez has decided to leave Tottenham Hotspur in the summer transfer window.
Talks between Tottenham and the £65,000-a-week (Spotrac)’s agent will now talk place over finding a new club, according to the reporter.
Romano wrote on Twitter (7:33am, June 16, 2023): “Davinson Sanchez has decided to leave Tottenham this summer. Discussions will take place to find new club as he wants a new experience. #THFC
“Spurs and Davinson agents, on it as @PSierraR called.”

Should Tottenham Hotspur sell Davinson Sanchez?
In our view, if Davinson Sanchez wants to leave Tottenham Hotspur in the summer transfer window, then the North London club should just sell him.
If the defender himself is not keen on staying at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium and working with new head coach Ange Postecoglou, then Spurs should offload him and try to get a decent transfer fee.
The 27-year-old Colombia international centre-back has simply not been a huge success at Spurs, and we do not think that the North London club would miss him much if he left.
Sanchez has made 142 appearances in the Premier League so far in his career.
The defender has scored three goals and given one assist in those games, as well as helped keep 39 clean sheets.
Tottenham paid £42 million for Sanchez back in the summer of 2017 (The Guardian).
It is very unlikely that Spurs will be able to recoup that transfer fee this summer, but they could be able to get £25 million to £30 million for the defender.
