BBC Sport pundit Michael Stewart has said that Celtic should replace Tottenham Hotspur-bound Ange Postecoglou with Brendan Rodgers.
The former Hibernian player has said on BBC Sport that Celtic should after Brendan Rodgers to replace Ange Postecoglou, who has left his role at the Hoops and is now the manager of Premier League club Tottenham Hotspur.
Stewart has suggested that some Celtic fans may not like it, but he believes that the former Leicester City and Liverpool boss is a top manager who would succeed at the Hoops in his second spell in charge.
The pundit said: “Dare I say it, perhaps they look to their old manager Brendan Rodgers to see if they can get him back.
“I’m not sure how that would go down but I think they could do a hell of a lot worse.
“Regardless of what people think and how things ended at Leicester City, that is a guy who is a top manager and he is available.”

Should Celtic bring back Brendan Rodgers?
In our view, Celtic should avoid re-hiring Brendan Rodgers as their new manager.
Yes, we know that Rodgers is a very good manager.
The former Liverpool boss was hugely successful during his first spell at Celtic.
Under Rodgers, the Bhoys won the domestic treble twice.
And the team played wonderful attacking football.
However, we cannot forget how Rodgers left Celtic.
Rodgers left his managerial role at Celtic as soon as Leicester City came calling.
Sack by the Foxes in April, Rodgers is now without a managerial role.
We believe that Celtic should move on from Rodgers and hire someone new and fresh.
