Real Madrid are interested in signing Chelsea striker Romelu Lukaku, according to a report.
Real Madrid linked with Chelsea striker Romelu Lukaku
The Daily Mail have reported that Real Madrid are looking at Chelsea striker Romelu Lukaku as a potential replacement for Karim Benzema.
French striker Benzema is leaving Madrid in the summer transfer window.
And one of the strikers Los Blancos are looking at to potentially replace Benzema with is Lukaku.
The Belgium international is on loan at Inter Milan from Chelsea at the moment.
Lukaku joined Inter on loan from Chelsea in the summer of 2022.
The Italian club have reached the final of the UEFA Champions League this season.
The £350,000-a-week (SalarySport) striker is scheduled to return to his parent club Chelsea from Inter thereafter.

Potential mistake from Real Madrid
In our view, Real Madrid should not sign Romelu Lukaku from Chelsea in the summer transfer window.
The striker really struggled on his return to Chelsea, which was a big reason why the Blues sent him out on loan to Inter.
Lukaku has had injury problems at Inter this season.
And he is 30 now.
Lukaku made 19 starts and six substitute appearances in Serie A for Inter this season.
The striker scored 10 goals and gave six assists in those games.
The Inter no. 90 scored three goals and provided one assist in seven substitute appearances in the UEFA Champions League this campaign.
We do not think that Madrid should invest in Lukaku at this stage of his career.
Los Blancos need a striker who is at the top of his game and will be able to make an immediate impact at the Santiago Bernabeu as well as be successful in the long run.
Benzema is one of the greatest strikers of all time and is a Madrid legend, and replacing him is not going to be easy.
