It has been claimed that while Arsenal admire Ivan Fresneda, they are yet to send an official proposal to complete a transfer for him.

This revelation comes from Fabrizio Romano about the Real Valladolid wonderkid, who has a £26.5 million release clause in his contract.

It has been detailed however, that Arsenal remain interested in wrapping up a transfer for Ivan Fresneda in the summer.

Fabrizio Romano details Ivan Fresneda to Arsenal transfer situation

The Spaniard has cemented his reputation as one of the most prodigious right-backs in La Liga this campaign.

Capable of bombing down the flank whilst also having a significant impact in central areas, many have tipped Fresneda to be perfect for the inverted role at the Emirates Stadium.

While Ivan Fresneda could perhaps be a more attacking version of Ben White at Arsenal, it has been revealed that the club are yet to send an official proposal to sign him.

However, Mikel Arteta’s side are believed to ‘appreciate’ the player and have held an interest in his signature since January.

The race to sign the 18-year-old is believed to still be ‘open’, with Borussia Dortmund still keen on bringing him in to the Westfalenstadion.

The teenager is simply the perfect Arsenal right-back

Due to how technically gifted he is alongside his ability to invert and thrive, one can understand why Arsenal are interested in making a transfer for Ivan Fresneda a reality.

Due to the range in Fresneda’s game as well, as excellent as White has been, he could overlap on the right flank to ease the creative burden on Saka, who tends to be double-teamed week in, week out.

Also, with how adept Mikel Arteta is coaching young players, he could turn his fellow countryman into an absolute phenomenon.

At just 18 years of age as well, the sky would the limit for Ivan Fresneda at Arsenal.
