Newcastle United head coach Eddie Howe is reportedly not fully convinced by Arsenal left-back Kieran Tierney.
According to Football Transfers, Newcastle United want to sign Kieran Tierney from Premier League rivals Arsenal in the summer transfer window.
The report has claimed that Arsenal are willing to sell the left-back for £35 million.
Newcastle are willing to pay £18 million for the Scotland international defender.
However, according to the report, Newcastle manager Howe “is having reservations” about Tierney “due to his injury record”.
While Tierney has done well for Arsenal when fit and on firm, he has spent quite a bit of time on the sidelines.
Newcastle United should pursue Kieran Tierney
In our view, Newcastle United head coach Eddie Howe should not be too bothered about the injury problems that have affected Kieran Tierney at Arsenal.

Yes, the left-back has had fitness issues during his time at Arsenal so far, but that is just unfortunate.
It does not mean that the Scotland international is injury prone.
We believe that Tierney would be a very good signing for Arsenal.
The 25-year-old would make Newcastle a better team.
Tierney is a very good left-back who can defend well and can also go on marauding runs forward.
And he has experience of playing in Europe, which will be handy for Newcastle.
After all, the Magpies will play in the UEFA Champions League next season.
