It has been reported that while Daniel Levy intends to appoint Luis Enrique as the next Tottenham Hotspur manager, he is unsure whether he would accept the job.
The Independent reports that the Spurs chairman believes that considering he made a number of demands at Chelsea, the deal to bring him on board is likely to fall through.

While Luis Enrique remains a top manager, Daniel Levy is seemingly underconfident that a deal can get over the line to appoint him as the next Tottenham manager.
Daniel Levy feels Tottenham manager job will be a tough sell to Luis Enrique
Branding himself as the ‘best coach on the face of the Earth’ via AS, the Spaniard certainly belongs amongst the absolute elite, if not just a tier below.
Winning the treble at Barcelona in 2015 while leading a young Spain side to the semi-finals of the Euros in 2021, Enrique has pedigree in abundance.
However, as Luis Enrique had plenty of demands during his talks with Chelsea, it seems like this very aspect has put Daniel Levy off in trying to appoint the highly-acclaimed manager.
Should Spurs fans empathise with this situation that their chairman finds themselves in or urge him to get the deal done?
Daniel Levy should move mountains to bring him on board
Well, the exact details behind why Luis Enrique did not end up becoming the next Chelsea manager remain unknown but Daniel Levy should certainly try everything he can to bring him in at Tottenham.
After Arne Slot decided to turn down the chance to join Spurs and the same can be said for Julian Nagelsmann, there are not many top coaches in the market that could come in and transform the club.
Enter Luis Enrique.
The job Enrique did as Spain boss, despite his nation’s Round of 16 elimination at the World Cup was remarkable, setting a tactical blueprint and getting the best out of the youthful ensemble at Euro 2020.
Considering he remains out of work, Levy should do all he can to bring him in at N17.
