Tottenham Hotspur are now viewing Celtic boss Ange Postecoglou as a prime candidate to become their new manager.
Ange Postecoglou is under serious consideration for the Tottenham Hotspur job after Arne Slot was ruled out.
That is according to a report from The Independent, who claim that Spurs could now pivot to Postecoglou.
Feyenoord boss Slot seemed destined for the Tottenham job but the move has broken down.
Slot has committed his future to Feyenoord and that means Tottenham must go and find another option.
Tottenham now seem ready to go for Postecoglou instead with The Independent claiming that he is a top contender.
Spurs are thought to be strongly considering moves for either Postecoglou or Sporting boss Ruben Amorim.
Tottenham have just missed out on an in-work manager but seem ready to go down that route again by targeting Postecoglou or Amorim.

Ange Postecoglou age under the microscope amid Tottenham Hotspur interest
Whilst The Independent suggest that Postecoglou is a top target, The Times aren’t so convinced.
They claim that Tottenham have held an interest in Postecoglou but that they have a concern over his age.
It’s suggested that Spurs are worried about appointing Postecoglou because he is already 57.
That seems like a very strange concern and one that Tottenham fans will surely be baffled by if true.
Erik ten Hag is 53, Jurgen Klopp is 55, Pep Guardiola is 52 and Mauricio Pochettino is 51.
Postecoglou is a similar age to all four so why on earth would Tottenham be deterred by him being 57?
The Australian has shown that he has very modern methods with his approach to football at Celtic.
The Bhoys – who have just won a second straight league title under Postecoglou – play exciting, attacking football with high pressing all over the pitch.
There is a real chance that Tottenham are over-thinking this now; if they like Postecoglou and think he can be a solution to the club’s current problems, then go for him regardless of his age – which doesn’t even feel like a major problem anyway.
